DAVID SPEAR...After working with the 1984 World’s Fair in New Orleans, David Spear founded Events, Inc., a special event design and production company. Using the trade names of Classic Fireworks, Classic Effects and AFX Pro, he has designed and produced special effects for eleven NFL Super Bowls, two World Cup Soccer Opening Ceremonies, three Republican National Conventions, numerous NBA, PGA and Major League Baseball Championships and All-Star Games, several Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants and hundreds of corporate and association events across the USA and in eighteen foreign countries.
In 2007 David founded AFX Pro, a special effects company in New Orleans. Current clients include the New Orleans Saints, New Orleans Pelicans, LSU & Tulane Athletics, and more.
